Alinity Divine
Alinity has been a part of a lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo, a Twitch fan who is from California filed a civil lawsuit for damages of $25 million from Twitch in connection with the exposure to "overly explicit and sexually explicit content that came from female streamers" when they logged on to the website. Dexerto obtained court papers that reveal the plaintiff who has previously fought Microsoft Sony Nintendo Blizzard in addition to Blizzard had made a formal complaint June 15. Twitch received an official summons from the court on the 19th June. Estavillo is an individual who, according to his complaint filed with Santa Clara Superior Court of California submitted on June 15 is suffering from obsessive/compulsive disorder such as addiction to sexual substances and ailments that cause him to depend solely on the internet to stay entertained. The complaint further claims that Twitch causes these problems. The complaint goes on to list several female streamers that it says "continues to make available viewers who just want to see people playing video games on Twitch, but instead get confronted by sexually addictive materials and content on a consistent every day." Alinity isn't included. The complaint requests all of the above streamers to be permanently barred from Twitch for violating the TOS. The complaint also demands the payment of $25 million, to "be divided equally among the plaintiff and other Twitch Turbo subscribers, as well as any remaining funds."
