After his school days Lars was drafted into the military where he performed his military basic service for nine months in the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards), an infantry regiment of the Danish army. Lars didn't think the military service was right for him so he began to look for something else and eventually chose to study biology. Anette returned from a juggler's workshop and showed Lars just how much she could do in just three days, even though Lars had already been busy for a half-year. Lars was impressed and wanted to do this also. He decided to drop out of college and enrolled to the juggler's college as well. He also learned fire breathing and the art of juggling. Then he went on tour with two of his friends as touring artists across Europe, where they performed in the streets of cities such as Paris, Munich, Moscow and Warsaw. He was introduced to the children's circus two more years after. There he also learned street and children's theater pantomime.
