She joined ABC News July 2004, and has covered a variety of aspects, such as investigations like the Jon Benet Ramsey investigation, as well as school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair was hired by ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. As a reporter, she anchored live coverage as well as news briefs on ABC's digital channel. Nair was the co-anchor for World News Now and America This Morning on ABC, from September 17, 2008 from September 17, 2008, until February 18, 2011. She was partnered with Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson in both shows. Nair announced on Thursday, 17 February 2011 that her last night broadcasting at World News Now would be the 18th of February, Friday. This would also be her final day at ABC News.
