Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress for film as well as on stage since the latter part of 1970. Since the age of 27 she has performed as an active professional thespian. Her career began in the year 1990 with an off Broadway production of The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. The Perfect Tribute was her first role on TV within a year. Her breakthrough in her career came about in the year 1992, when she acted as a support role in the movie Basic Instinct. The Firm is where she began her career as a female actor in the film alongside Tom Cruise & Gene Hackman. Through the 1990s her career was a collaboration with Hollywood's top stars such as Gwyneth on Sliding doors Hugh Grant Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews Relative Values.
