Kolber, originally from Pennsylvania, earned her graduate degree from the University of Miami. Her career in the field began when she was the Video Coordinator at CBS Sports, New York City. She was awarded an award for a Local Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV located in Miami. She also served as an anchor for WPLG-TV Miami, and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993 she was picked for anchoring the first season of ESPN2's launch. She was with ESPN2 up to the point that Fox Sports hired her. After that, she was back at ESPN which is where she now hosts "Monday Night Countdown.'
