Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muaythai fighter from Peru and a mixed martial artist who is who is a part of the UFC at the flyweight division, is currently a Kyrgyzstani. She's older than fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko was the first to start fighting sports by becoming a Muay Thai kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut in her first IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals with a unanimous verdict. Antonina won a medal of silver in 2007, she also won a bronze medal in 2008, and a gold medal gold in 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion of 2016 by IFMA. Antonia started her professional career in at the age of 2003. She took home at the world championships for light Welterweight at WKC in 2012 as well as The Lion Fight Lightweight Championships 2016, and the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina's final bout took place at Phoenix Fighting Championship against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas. She was able to win unanimously. Antonina Shevchenko made the professional MMA record in 2002 at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan in a fight with Anara Bayanova. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi via split decision fight following her first bout by a unanimity. Antonina recovered from this loss, defeating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. The result earned her the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko went 2-2 in her subsequent three bouts. She beat Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO during UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
